  • BSB41513 Certificate IV in Project Management Practice or other similar qualification.
  • Extensive vocational experience in project roles where they may have had some limited responsibility for the output of others, and without a formal project management qualification.

What if I have studied before?

If you have existing knowledge or skills relating to the requirements of this course you can apply for recognition of prior learning (RPL). RPL may be granted for knowledge or skills obtained through prior education, training, work and life experiences.

If granted, you may be eligible for credit towards this course, allowing you to finish your study sooner.


The Diploma of Project Management is offered as both full time and part time through our online learning model.

Full-time training: This usually allows you to complete your course in a shorter amount of time and involves a workload of around 40 hours per week. There is also an expectation that Assessment Activities for one Unit of Competency will be submitted for assessment each week.

Part-time training: This option will take more time to complete than the full-time option. The workload is generally around 20 hours per week  There is an expectation that Assessment Activities for one Unit of Competency will be submitted for assessment each fortnight.

External Learning

Learning materials are provided to you to work through at home. As Units of Competency are successfully completed we will send you the next units for the course.  With the opportunity for one-on-one support with our trainers or Student Support Officer.
